What’s for Dinner Mom? Kim’s Homemade Salsa

What’s for Dinner Mom? Kim’s Homemade Salsa

Tonight we had Nathan’s Hotdogs, Nachos with Homemade Salsa Dip. Delicious! I really like Nathan’s Hotdogs. Usually their just a little to expensive for my budget, but I found these at a great deal: (2) Packs for $5. A really good deal for this brand.

My kids love hotdogs and so do I. We like them fried in a skillet, grilled or just heated n the microwave. We usually eat hotdogs about once a week and always with my Homemade Salsa. Tonight I wanted to share my inexpensive recipe for Homemade Salsa.

Kim’s Homemade Salsa

1 can of whole tomatoes, 2 cans of Rotel (tomatoes and chilies), 1/2 diced onion, diced up fresh jalapeno (according to taste), 1/4 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp of sugar, just a little garlic, and a 1/2 to 1 cup of cilantro. A little fresh lime juice. Pulse seven or eight times in food processor; put in glass jar (not plastic), chill (or not) & EAT! Fresh & Healthy! Serve with Nachos. Enjoy!

Thanks! My kids love this recipe. Nathan’s hotdogs are so good. Sometimes you will find coupons for Nathan’s hotdogs. You should really try some. I haven’t seen the hotdog eating contests yet.

I love hot dogs, I don’t think I’ve tried Nathan’s though. I’ve seen their hot dog eating contests, they are pretty crazy. Your salsa dip looks yummy.
