Love it! Saw this pic for the Organic Moby Wrap over at Eco-Friendly Baby Boutique while shopping and just had to share. Now that’s a real man! I know many will have mixed feelings about this ad, but I am ecstatic to see a man in a role that traditionally only a woman would hold. I wish more companies would take this stance and reverse advertisers portrayal of gender roles. In society today, there are no longer traditional roles when it comes to parenting. In the 1950′s this ad would have made the news, but today it’s becoming the norm as more and more men are stepping up to really embrace their role as a parent and are no longer afraid to show their feminine side.
What do you think? Would your baby’s daddy wear this? I know mine wouldn’t have, but why not? Does this make a man less feminine? How do you feel about this ad? Is it a turn off or a turn on?
