Saving Big With Digital Coupons

Saving Big With Digital Coupons

Did you know coupon usage is on the rise due to the popular TV show Extreme Couponing and Deal and Coupon sites?

I jumped on the craze myself last year and ended up with a pantry full of boxes of hamburger helper, rice-a-roni, spaghetti sauces, spaghetti and more free toothpaste then I know what to do with, so since then I have slowed down on using paper manufacturer coupons and began to use digital coupons because really, who wants to spend hours cutting and organizing coupons with our already busy schedules?

Not me, that’s for sure.

So instead of using paper manufacturer coupons exclusively, I have turned to digital couponing online which I predict is on trend to be the popular new way to shop. The reasons are one it’s a huge time saver, two it’s just easier to do without all the time-consuming tasks of using paper coupons and three, it’s much easier to shop from the comfort of my own home.

How I Use Digital Coupons

The best way I have found to save money by shopping online is by using websites like Coupon Chief that offers digital coupons and promotional codes. It’s super easy and fast to do.

The first thing I do is to decide what I’m purchasing and where.

My daughter recently had a baby and I decided to make her a photo book of all the newborn pictures I had taken. I decided to use Shutterfly since I have used them before. So over on Coupon Chief I did a quick search of Shutterfly and found this coupon code. 50% off Hard Cover Photo Books and pages. Enter code BOOKIT at checkout! That’s it. I saved 50% off my purchase at checkout. Now that’s some huge savings!!!

I also needed to purchase a gift for a family member who is into eating healthy and losing weight. I wanted to give them something different so I decided to give them a gift that will remind them how much I care all year long. A Nature Box full of Nutritionist approved snacks.

I had reviewed the Nature Box last year so I knew just how good the snacks are that you receive. So I did a search for Nature Box and found this digital coupon code. Get 30% off your first month of purchases from NatureBox.com. I found this digital coupon code and saved 30% off something I was going to purchase anyway.

Another favorite place I like to shop is Amazon, because I earn Amazon giftcards from SwagBucks. A quick search today pulled up a large selection of digital coupon codes for products like Diapers, Gaming Equipment, Clothes and Shoes.

I do almost all of my online shopping at Amazon. I like to use Swagbucks too, I hope to save up for Christmas this year.

I LOVE all the perks of using digital coupons and the fact that they are better for the environment, but I just haven’t been able to bring myself to do it yet. What if I get up there and my phone malfunctions? lol, I just need to trust technology and try it out.

I’ve been using digital coupons more as well. I grocery shop at Kroger, and they’ve had more and more digital coupons available as well….especially for their store brand. I love it!
