Project Fig Review (Skin Care for Intimate Grooming)

project Fig

I had the opportunity to review the project Fig Line of all natural skin care for intimate grooming. This grooming kit is for a woman’s or man’s intimate areas.  I received the Weekender project Fig kit. The perfect size for gift-giving and travel. It included all four of their products.

Shave Gel: The shave gel is designed to soften hair and prepare the skin for intimate shaving. This gel is designed to help prevent nicks, razor burn and other forms of irritation. It foams up nicely and stays put while you shave.

Soothing Serum: The Soothing Serum calms, cools and protects delicate skin after grooming and also provides itch relief during regrowth of hair.

Exfoliant: The exfoliant is designed to remove dead skin cell build-up and help prevent ingrown hair. It is delicate enough for a woman’s intimate area. It refines and softens the skin for a smoother result.

Hair Inhibitor: The hair inhibitor was designed to slow hair growth in between grooming. This product promotes softer, visibly finer hair for an easier, less painful intimate grooming experience.

At project Fig, they have designated 4 Fig Zones of a woman’s intimate areas where many groom. You can find them here.
I decided to use the products sent to me on my underarm area for this review.  For the past two weeks I have been using the project Fig products and am very pleased with the results.  I decided to do my own little experiment. I used regular shaving cream for one underarm and the project Fig products for my other underarm area. You didn’t really think I would talk about my Vajayjay?

First I used the Exfoliant the day before shaving as recommended. The following day I used the Shave Gel, the Soothing Serum and the Hair Inhibitor. I really liked the shave gel. It went on very smooth and stayed put while shaving. The razor glided over the area very easily. I next used the soothing serum which felt cool and comforting to my skin.  I waited a little bit and then applied the hair inhibitor.

I checked my underarms after a few days to see if there was a difference. I noticed just a very slight difference under the arm where I used the project Fig products. It had less hair growth then the one I used with shaving cream, but very slight. I imagine if you used the Hair Inhibitor on a regular basis you would get better result.s I am actually thinking of using on my upper lip where I have some slight hair growth. Hey, if’s it good enough for down there I figure it’s safe enough for my face. LOL

All in all I think they have some really good products here, but in my opinion slightly priced a little high. The kit I received retails for $49

A little more about project Fig: The idea for project Fig was created by Sue Madigan after having a  disastrous waxing experience. She set out on a mission to find the best products to use and the information she needed to avoid pain and irritation during intimate grooming. After researching and looking she had a spark of inspiration to create the products she was looking for. She partnered with Mollie Jensen and project Fig was born. They are educating women and men everywhere and providing all natural skin care products needed for intimate grooming needs.

Disclosure: I received the project Fig products in order to facilitate my review. No other compensation was received. This product review is based on my own personal experiences with this product and is completely honest and objective.

Me too Billie! I actually never wax there. That’s why I used the kit on my underarms. (BTW: The kit I received is for shaving. No waxing for me) I can’t imagine how painful it would be. Eek!!!

Sounds like interesting products, I’ve always been way too scared to put wax or the like near my lady bits.
