I really don’t listen to music all that much unless I’m in the car or need some background music while I work and one of my favorite Musicians is singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Adam Young of Owl City. My favorite all time song from Owl City is Fireflies. Love it. So I when I had the opportunity to review Owl City’s new Album, The Midsummer Station I was excited to hear it and give my opinions.
I have been listening to it for the past few days and I really like it. I didn’t find a song on it that I loved as much as Fireflies, but I really liked the song, “Good Time.” Adam Young collaborated with Carly Rae Jepsen to produce this upbeat and playful song that will make you want to tap your foot to the beat and sing along.
Listening to Owl City’s, “The Midsummer Station” will lift your spirits and give you the optimism to face your day. The Music on his new album is upbeat, with fun wordplays through out. I think Adam Young has successfully proven his skills and ability to be more than a one hit wonder as many claimed after his success with Fireflies.
Disclosure: I received a copy of Owl City’s Midsummer Station Album in order to facilitate this review. No other compensation was received. My opinions are 100% my own and honest and objective.
