I was recently given the opportunity to review Two Bottles of The Original Country Bob’s All-Purpose Sauce and of course, being a saucy kind of girl, I said yes. I love sauces on everything. You name it, I pretty much sauce it up. I know my sauces.
My Country Bob’s All-Purpose Sauce arrived securely packaged and included a brochure featuring some of their recipes. You can visit their website here to see their recipes for yourself. Some of the recipes I can’t wait to try are Country Bob’s Meatloaf, Country Bob’s Fantastic Baked Beans and Honolulu Bob Burgers.
For my taste-testing I chose to throw on some steaks on my indoor grill. I also made some fries because I definitely wanted to try dipping them in the sauce.

The flavor was delish! It tastes a little sweet similar to a BBQ sauce. The only thing I can compare it to would be A1, but I would say Country Bob’s All-Purpose Sauce tastes sweeter. Out of my family who were over for dinner that night, 3 loved it, 1 liked it and 1 didn’t. I was one of the one’s who loved it.

Country Bob’s All-Purpose Sauce can be used not only as a dipping sauce, but to marinate, grill, cook or even put it in your soups, stews or other dishes. Country Bob’s All-purpose sauces comes in Spicy, Barbeque, Apple Chipotle or Honey Habanero flavors and are gluten-free. They also sell a Seasoning Salt. You can purchase their products in stores or order online. I ran down to my local store just to see if they carry them and I’m glad to say they do and I live in a very small town.

Now here’s a little background about Country Bob and his sauces. Country Bob came up with the recipe for his sauce back in 1968. It was the sauce of his dreams. He gave it away for years to family and friends, until in 1977 he decided to sell it to the general public. The reaction to his sauces was a dream come true for Country Bob, so in 1982 the company became Country Bob Inc. The company that it remains to this day.
Country Bob’s is founded on Christian principles and they give God the glory for their Success. On their website you will find this scripture: Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” We have placed true ownership of Country Bob, Inc. in the hands of God. “Christ is our CEO” and He is an Awesome Boss!
I love a company that is not afraid to take a stand on what they believe!

I would LOVE to make the Pastrami/Swiss Burger. How original! I was surprised to see that recipe on a bbq sauce blog. Awesome.
